In the Wild: Bengal Tiger charges and hunts Gaurs

In this episode of "In the wild ", famous Hollywood Actor Bob Hoskin visits India in search for the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

This video showcase a scene in the documentary where a pair of Bengal Tiger attacks a herd of Gaurs.
water (asiatic) buffalo.

This shows that Tigers frequently hunt such large prey when they feel like it. This can be seen by the reaction and behavior of the Buffalos when they see the Tiger charging, they fled upon seeing the tigers, thus showing that the Tigers are their natural predator.

I love how the tiger just lets out a growl and they all run away. It's almost as if the tiger is announcing: "I own you now. Fleeing is futile, just surrender now and it will all be over in a minute."

Gaur are large, but really docile. A solitary American Bison ( 3000 pounds worth ) would go through those tigers so fast it would be a joke. Bison are short tempered, don't back down, and even Grizzly Bears avoid them......for good reason.
