a simple demonstration of TFA beginner, intermediate and senior Bharatanatyam classes ending with a short performance by Hemavathi Sivanesan in a varnam conducted by Mavin Khoo. Jan 2008.
the end section dance by hemavathi is splendid. i wonder how advanced she is in her training, and how long would it take a beginner to learn/do this piece with expertise like hers, can anyone tell me...?
Yeah sounds like it from the adavu recording which sounds like Jayalakshmi Eshwar's recordings - and I think the jatiswaram is also her recording - could someone give us more info, perhaps?

the last solo performance is called the Arangetram, where the dancer demonstrates his/her mastery to be inaugurated by the audience.
