In response to the charges of being a "Black Hitler", Farrakhan responded during a March 11, 1984 speech broadcast on a Chicago radio station.

Well, in a sense you could say there is a similarity in that we are rising our people up from nothing, but don't compare me with your wicked killers.

He was NOT an evil man. I don't care what anyone says; the world has been using him as a punching bag for way too long. I believe with all my heart that he was truly decent and kind and did only what he thought was in the best interest of his country.
