where did you live in Santiago? I live in Yunyoa near Estacion Grecia. I just got down here about a month ago and would love to hear of some great things to do, or people that you met down here that I can feel comfortable around. :)

Try "ehliquantel" (thats the way to spell it and write it) you can buy it in any pharmacy, it cost around... 1000 pesos by pill, (2 dollars), and you have to give to the dog 1 pill/ten KILOS. AS common as it is in our country... that easy they are eliminated.

Worms in pup, are normal ("normal"), and there are a lot of them (flat ones, round ones, etc), the ones that make you "loose wait" are what we call tenias (I dont know how to say it) and the other ones rarely are contagious to humans. The only you have to say is give them a little pill, that contains substances against parasites. They will do a lot of pup with worms, and then they will be ok (Im a vet).

ja ja aj, hey prueba los membrillos cocidos, son muy ricos cocidos, los pelas los partes en rodajas como de limon los pones en azucar y a herbir, quedan muy buenos y el jugo es genial. o tambien puedes comerlos crudos con sal, eso si pareceras escolar lo cual es peligroso si te ve un policia je je. salu2 y 5 estrellas.
