I just happened to bump into Tony Benn whilst passing through Euston Station in London today. He had a train to catch hence the quick chat as opposed to a long interview.
A really nice guy.

  • Very cool, Christian. Also, you made it to the front page on YouTube!

  • Cheers for the comments.

  • I had a minute of his time.. I asked a quick question to which i knew i would get a quick answer.. At this time the subject of the war was in the news everywhere.. Besides.. I went to Iraq myself to find out first hand and didn't need to ask anyone a one minute question.. What did you do?

  • You are my hero Tony... I admire you..........

  • nice interview!!!

  • I want Tony Benn to be my third Grandpa.

  • why do I never meet living legends at train stations? :-(

  • @Documentally You are one lucky customer. Of all the stations in London at that time in that place, what are the odds?

  • Well done documentally for capturing this video. Tony Benn is an amazing man - and like CraigMason1971 ~ I also live in Chesterfield and remember him being our MP. My mum had been told she would have to wait 3 years for an operation on the NHS (this was way back in the 1990s) or if she paid £1,000 she could have it done privately the next day. She was being crippled by the illness - she went to see Tony Benn and within 3 days she had the operation on the NHS. A truly amazing man.

  • What one person considers a 'real issue' differs from another...

I found this quite enlightening especially since its questions regarding the current media rather than Benn's political standpoint which is something you can find out from a click away on google whereas this stuff is genuinely new
