  • I would love to have Ashoiji's e-mail adress. Also what does Ushta Te! mean

    Thnx urvanem

  • @armaityjm Ashoi had explained to me beautifully what Ushta means.

In one word, Ushta means 'bliss', however what does bliss really mean? More accurately 'ushta' or 'bliss' means the 'state of harmony and equilibrium of mind, body and spirit.' It's like joy peace & freedom experience like no other. But, that experience cannot be intellectually comprehended unless one has actually experienced it by attaining to state of vohu-manah.

'Te' means 'to/unto you', like we say 'Nemase Te' in Avesta.

  • @urvanem So Ushta Te mean "may bliss be unto you". In Zoroastrians, "Ushta Te" was common greeting instead of "Bye." And "Nemase Te" (Gathic/Avastan version of Sanskrit's "Namaste") was common way of greeting instead of 'Hi'.

Armaity, I'll send you Ashoi's email address.

Write to him if interested in these matters.

    Ushta Te!

    Nemase Te!

  • Ashoi you are amazing.

Could you explain in little more detail what you mean , when you say that all your actions are but God's. Even the Bhagvat Gita says the same thing but i am not able to comprehend this.

    Thnx Urvanem.

  • @armaityjm Thank you for the question. I will email your question to Ashoiji on your behalf and post his explanation herein in the comments when I receive his reply.

Also I can give you his email address if you would like to sometimes correspond with Ashoiji directly. .

    Ushta Te!

  • Thanks for bringing this most ancient Gatha from Persian land.

May Mitra, Varuna and Aryaman may bestow the land of Persia with more wisdom and peace-

    Shanti Mantra -

"Om Shanno mitrah sham varunah; shanno bhavatvaryama ... May the Mitra, Varuna and the Aryama be auspicious on us......"- Taitriya Upanishad, YajurVeda.

  • Thanks for sharing this video. It has inspired me to add The Avesta to my summer reading.
