Airowgun Slingshot Mania

The Airowgun is originally a product made by a commercial company for regular bows. It allows to shoot .22 pellets instead of arrows, using an air compressor. The dowel replaces the arrow. I have built a custom made slingshot that propels the mechanism instead of a full size bow. making the weapon much more compact.

This works fine, and the speed that is achievable is quite impressive. There is room for opitmization, which I may do in the near future.

The setup is very stable and not dangerous.

The video shows the mechanism and some shots, plus two super slomo scenes of the pellet leaving the muzzle (filmed at 1200 frames per second).

someone may have mentioned this already but have you seen dave caterbury's sling-bow mod? a few simple additions and he fires arrows from a sling shot. i know you said you like them just the way they are but your slingshots are much more powerful than anything i have seen to date and i would very much like to see how they fire arrows.

if you move up the handle some, you might get more stability, but less power.
