"Troika" in the painting

Trojka (ros. тройка) - rodzaj trójkonnego zaprzęgu popularny w Rosji, szczególnie przy saniach.

A troika (Russian: тройка, "triplet" or "trio") is a traditional Russian harness driving combination, using three horses abreast, usually pulling a sleigh.

  • I love all ethnic music -- particularly Russian music -- (as a guitarist, i find the little balalaika is such a beautiful instrument) ~ with that gypsy sound, reminiscent of the Mediterranean....this version to me sounds very much like Sicilian folk music....(as im half-siculo) - beautiful! - HARASHO!

  • I love it. The russian´s culture is so beatiful.

    Best regards from Argentina

  • In Soviet Russia, Troika listens to YOU!

  • Well worth watching for the pictures alone, music excellent of its type but just a little too "smooth" ; I prefer balalaika to be a bit more raw. Good, though, thanks

  • ¿cómo se llama la canción?

  • "Ah, ¡Troyka! Ave Troyka! quien te ha inventado? Solo con la gente agil puedrías nacer - en la tierra que no le gusta las bromas, que ha extendido a la mitad del mundo, y vas a contar millas, hasta que empezará a hacer chiribitas los ojos."

    (Nikolai Gogol, "Las almas muertas").
