when i do this, it is not bringing the numbers over. they look like this: ''*#&*!+" . Any suggestions?

without using chart how can I export a file like this? for example an application made in excel (a form to fill out) to export into illustrator???

Good technique. Just watch out for wacky RGB colors, bizarre masks and compound paths and the like... May need more cleanup in AI before pasting?

Wow. I always printed to PDF from Excel, then opened that in AI. I don't think I ever tried copying it. Saves some time! Thanks.

I have wasted hours trying to get Illustrator CS4 to create a chart. I am new to the program, but it is not intuitive. This video just took the pain away in seconds. Thank you.
