  • I remember the first time I heard this song...And at the moment of the cresendo of the first chorus that I could literally feel my mind being peeled back and being fucked by their genius

  • Why this song isn't just as popular as "Stairway to Heaven" beats me. The combination of the slow, soothing verses and the punch from the chorus...just freaking magic.

  • This song is my idea of perfect prog rock. KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING . Get's me everytime.

  • Beautiful sounds from a wonderful long ago era (1969) when creative magic still lived in the music of the day.....

  • Moments of ecstasy throughout.

  • chester chester chester ........

  • I have heard The Legendary Pink Dots described as "Pink Floyd for the more daring", but I would argue that they are "King Crimson for the more daring". Especially considering that one of their key players is a flautist (among other things) called Niels van Hoorn Blower.

  • This song is used with devastating effect in the movie "Children of Men," which is about the aftermath of global nuclear war and how somehow only the U.K. survived unscathed. But there is a catch...everyone is sterile so the world is dying off slowly.

  • If it wasn't posted as such, I would have SWORN this was Greg Lake on vocals instead of John Wetton. I'm glad he made money in Asia (the band), because he deserved to make real money after all the great work he did in Crimson, etc. as did Ian McDonald, who wrote this song.

  • Got "The Tokyo Tapes" about a month ago...aaahhhhh! Excellent renditions of one masterpiece after another...Thank you again, for posting this, my top favorite version of my most favorite King Crimson track...

  • cana anyone tell me from when & where this is captured, and who is in the line up (yes I saw the notes but that's not the whole picture) thank you anyone listening...

that's not just drooling all over themselves... King Crimson rules the multiverses!
