A time when Americans read short stories by the gross (instead of watching the boob tube), we now call the Golden Age of pulp fiction. A huge readership for tales by writers from Edgar Rice Burroughs to Louis L'Amour to Raymond Chandler graced the covers of magazines like Astounding, Thrilling Detective, and Argosy. In an effort to bring back this Golden Age, Galaxy Press has produced and released an entire new library of works by L. Ron Hubbard, taken directly from the pulp history of one of the world's most prolific of writers. The wide-ranging stories here are deftly engineered with sound effects, utilizing the superb acting talents of audio luminaries such as Barbara Rosenblat, Ray Porter, Jim Meskimen, R.F. Daley, Tait Ruppert, Lori Jablons, and many more. Whatever one might think of Hubbard's relationship to Scientology, he was a master storyteller, and lived a fascinating life, with a thirst for intrigue and adventure. "Stories from the Golden Age" include Adventure, Mystery, Tales from the Orient, Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Western. They are worthy substitutes for many less imaginative scripts made for pop consumption today, including the same old superheroes and villains that repeatedly get rehashed in comic book sequels and video games. -- http://TowerReview.com
L. Ron Hubbard's greatest work of fiction: Scientology!

@Scientologee Agreed, but I'm not reviewing Dianetics here. Nor would I want to. You should see my video about the Tea Party if you want something truly hard to believe. Scientology can be taken or left, but what is happening to our economy affects everyone, and our politicians are in collusion with these crooks.
