Overall, great! But you need to mentioned the dummy 1/8" plug which must be used to cancel the optical trigger onall the controlled ABs.

You don't need to use any dummy plugs. Just plug the CyberSync into your AB or WL, using the supplied cord. That way, even if the phone cord fails, you still have trigger.

Thanks for the review. I am a little skeptical about battery use. Could you please share with me if the screen has a auto off feature? I also would like to see a test for distance and barriers when triggering flashes. Great work. Thanks again.

Battery life is around 2 hours of actual use, which equates to a lot of shooting time. The screen has an auto off feature that is user adjustable. You can also turn off the screen any time.

I am not using it as a trigger, as I explained in the video. If you wanted to work "on the cheap", it does double as a camera trigger. I prefer to use dedicated camera triggers and keep the Cyber Commander on my belt so it is always ready for use.

Does this work solely for EISNTEIN systems? Or does it work with my ALIEN BEE 800?

Thank You Derek. I see a difference between your system and mine with the receivers. I use the battery powered CSRB+ where you use the mains powered ones CSR+. That adds low battery potential problems to my system. I wonder how the CSR+ behave when used with a Vagabond.

Just which strobe units will this CC control remotely?

It would be great to see a definitive list that also shows which receivers are needed per which unit and if any functions are left out (cant set modeling light/strobe ratio, for instance.) Again, this would be great all on one page!

I know - I figured the CSR+ disabled the optical trigger, but inserting a dummy plug was covered in earlier instructions. If I don't have to do that, its a plus.

Thanks so much for videos! I opened my studio about the same time you did last year. I run it as a co-op and it's doing very well. I just received my Commander and it is a hoot! I just sit in the studio and play with it - turinig this light up, that group down, everything up, etc. - I may need an intervention soon, it's so addictive! the instruction manual is very detailed and you cleared up a lot by giving this general demonstration.
