This production deserves a revival in a major house, and a DVD released on a major label.

Oh my god, I've ALWAYS wanted to see this production ever since I read about it. It looks and sounds totally DVD-worthy. Antonacci is unbelievable. An Agrippina who really makes it clear why the opera is named after her. I didn't like that the cello also ornamented extensively. Even if it was an obbligato, it sounded excessive to my ears. Persson totally stands on her own as a worthy foe to that great woman. No wonder she turned into such a great Fiordiligi. I just love her too. What a cast!
