@xLimonxLobstaX Makoto's karakusa can tech the other players normal throw, but Makoto's karakusa cannot be teched.
You've probably seen Karakusa tech a regular throw, giving the illusion that the other player teched.

damn what a comeback

@713nd He said *almost*, and he was completely right. For HIGH LEVEL play, it's all mindgames at the end of the day.
-
Boss looking like.......a boss.

I just find Makoto a lot more satisfying to play. I picked up 3s with Makoto back in '00 and liked her just 'cause I liked her dash. Who cares what chara has the competitive edge, arcade games will never make money in the US so you might as well just have fun with it.

uhhhhh you can tech makoto's grab if you time it right.
-
@ILOVETODANCELOL you're acting as if makoto is a terrible character with no good pokes, no damage potential and such...
-
@apextwin kiya, kiya, kiya, kiya, kiya, ohhh kiyyyyaaaa.
-
@ILOVETODANCELOL Both are kind of gimmicky characters. Makoto gets 2 grabs and she wins the match. She doesn't even need meter half the time.

I've always known how much of a monster Makoto was :l
god this intro music is terrible

Since when is a character whose high-level play relies almost entirely on mindgames better than a character with EXCELLENT footsies, an EXCELELT karagrab and a Super Art that is easy as hell to hit-confirm into ?
