"Jejune" is probably a word you used to impress me, but it's ambiguous, so I'm not sure if you're accusing me of dullness or ignorance; the former is a matter of opinion, the latter I repudiate. Excellent town. I am actually trying to reconstruct a part of it as my N scale railroad design. So far, I have spent nearly $20,000 dollars in 10 years collecting the buildings, Bavarian locks and rail cars. I wish they would make more replicas of different city buildings from Rothenbyrg, so that I don' t have to make them from scratch. I have never been there but I have watched some clips and printed out a lit of pictures. I dream someday to visit the town and see it from a different perspecti

Maschinenbau, Dienstleistung, Handwerk, Handel und Gewerbe machen den Rest aus: ist eine dieser Industrien mehr als 1/3 des Gesamtumsatzes wert ist, gebe ich dir recht.

Depends what you look for in a vacation. It's a beautiful old city with some very pleasant countryside around. On the other hand, it's full of American and Japanese tourists, and many things are there "for show", and not really authentic.

interessant ist ,dass es im 12 jahrhundert dort schon eine Talmudschule gab und diese 'umbenennungsweltmeister' u.A.: Rabbi von rothenburg, bedenkliche Spuren hinterliessen

I studied in Rothenburg for 3 mos with the Goethe Insitut in September/October 2003 and February 2004. I have not studied since, but can still speak (more or less). Writing is difficult. It's easier to express myself in English for this.

My husband and I spent 2 days and nights there on our honeymoon in 2007. It was really nice and relaxing just walking the streets and exploring.
