ROB SWIFT RELEASES NEW SOLO ALBUM

Former X-ecutioner Rob Swift recently released a new solo album, Wargames. The CD/DVD includes guest appearances by DJ Melo D, DJ Quest, Bob James, Large Professor, Breez Evahflowin, Ricci Rucker, Toadstyle, Dave McMurray, Anthony Saffery, Akinyele, and Prints Haze. The deejay is also re-issuing his first mixtape, Soulful Fruit, which was originally released in 1995 by Stone Throws Records. The set will be re-issued by Fat Beats and will include a new cover and artwork.

Swift, who was one of the founding members of the X-ecutioners, left the group in Setember 2004 after creative clashes with Columbia Records and his groupmates. Swift shared that one of the biggest issues was the group's new label,...
