  • But why did you copy the first batch of mp3s to the root directory of the SD card instead of the subfolders?

  • Because the player was designed to just allow you to format a card and drop music straight on to it plain and simple, folders are only required for users who want to take advantage of the extra capacity.

    The player also requires at least one song in the root as a reference when booting up.

  • it work great ... you can also name the folders CD02 ... CD03 ... and so on ...

  • I installed one of these a couple of months ago. It's GREAT!! Emulates the CD Player and you can use the built in controls on the GoldWing.
