  • ALSO another thing that, like, I JUST noticed: For those who have heard March of the Zapotec, at 1:54-2:10, doesn't that sound A LOT like The Akara? Or is it just me?

  • Is it weird that I like his odd wrists?

  • @yellownewsoul Nope. There's beauty in imperfections. It's endearing.

  • Thumbs up if you checked your wrists :P

  • I can't put into words how much I love Zach Condon.

  • probably one of the most talented individuals in a while.. :)

  • Met him in Houston a few days ago....Lovely young man!

  • @FrannyLovesUkuleles Yes she definitely does :----( but her work is so good. I can't help but like her!

  • Don't get me wrong, I adore beirut and Zach but in this video he seems rather arrogant.

  • @inlovewithbeirut Make that his wife Kristianna Smith... It's sweet though because she appears in the video for Postcards For Italy and a few of the La Blogotheque videos and maybe the song 'My Wife' has something to do with her... but maybe without her Zach might not be as inspired as he his with her... maybe? So in a way it's a good thing... but god dammit it she makes us jealous. ;)

  • He used to be more famous...

  • Probably THE most interesting and creative musician of this generation. Zachary Francis Condon is a genius. His work with Beirut is stunning, he is an exceptional writer, musician and multi-instrumentalist. He is my idol. I cannot express how big an influence he's been, both on my music (I'm now obsessed with ukuleles and brass instruments), but also on my creativity. The Gulag Orkestar is the perfect soundtrack to my life. Thank you -3

  • I've watched nearly every interview with him and he is just awesome. So eloquent, knowledgeable, humble, and talented. Zach it is my dream to meet you one day.
