Rock the Garden, (an event co-sponsored by 89.3 The Current and The Walker Art Center) the Twin Cities' most-anticipated outdoor concert, featured some huge acts this year. My Morning Jacket, Neko Case, Booker T. Jones and Tapes 'n Tapes all performed.
Minnesota band Tapes n' Tapes had the opening slot at Rock the Garden 2011. Even though it was still raining outside, the band rallied a strong showing of enthusiastic fans.
They played hits from their three major albums, delighting the crowd. "Cowbell" is from the Tapes 'n Tapes breakthrough album "The Loon."
