  • I went to rectify faults left by their tosser franchise in hackney after they fitted a secondhand consumer unit with internals of a different make to a customers house, and had the cheek to charge them double the going rate.

  • @CooperTroopa

Did you see the word USUALLY in my comment ? No ? Well reread it then !!!

Birmingham might be good but in my LARGE geographical location they are not !

Older EX board leckies are usually (USUALLY) pretty good !!

  • They usually use young lads with little experience and are only interested in looking for board changes etc. One franchise was run by an ACCOUNTANT !

    Bunch of wankers.

  • I am a plumber, if I ever do a video like this I’ll spend 10 minutes boring the customer to death by emptying the contents of my tool bag.

  • I find it pathetic when people use You Tube to slander other businesses in their sector like this. dinger8916 you’re an electrician and have obviously tried to ruin Mr. Electric’s reputation. The video does a good job of showing how Mr. Electric offers customer service, it’s not meant to show off the tools they use. If only electricians thought more about customer service like Mr Electric instead of how shiny their tools are and showing off their arse crack!

  • I worked for Oxfordshire Mr Electric franchise for 3 days once and quit pronto. Were more interested in getting the customers to sign contracts and waver’s rather than working to reg’s. I reported I’d need further action to be compliant on a job, told me go no further than the quote. The job would have only taken another 15-20 minutes and a cost of about only £10 in materials.

Less time and cost than what we put in arguing about it! I did it anyway otherwise I’d be the one liable!

  • Lol at the diagnostics bag! Jesus! All I saw was a multimeter and a voltage indicator. I don't think either were GS38 compliant nor did they comply with BSEN61557. Where was his low reading ohmmeter, insulation resistance tester and rcd tester? Give these clowns a Megger 1553 and they'll be scratching their heads foe ages. Wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. COWBOYS

  • what a load of shite
