Kicker Comps

Well I got my system halfway where i want it, post vids tomorrow. I right now have two 1100 watt crunch amps wired in on an 8ohm load to two kicker cvrs. Tomorrow going to drop em down to 2ohms on 750watts a peice off one amp to one sub. This shit slams, up next is two more 1100 watt amps and two more 12" kicker cvrs.

does it really matter if you break in the CVR's? i just got two, i mean im not going to be killing right from the start but can you still put some power to them without killing the life of them?

@ttigerplaya it does if you want the most out of them....i broke mine in for about a week, i would play with the bass nob alittle bit; play them light then slam them for a min then turn it back down. my 4 12's are broke in now and on two 1500.1 crunch powerzones. they slam now and get low as hell.

@regalcoupe86 sweet!.... When I had my caprice I had two comps with a 3000 watt amps it was CRAZY if you sit on the back seat it will make your stomach hurt lol so what's the diff between the crvs n the comps?

@diddy150 the comps actually have a higher hz tone and the cvrs go way low. the cvrs aren't the best on the high hz tones but when the lows drop you feel it for sure! That's what got me hooked!

@ttigerplaya I never did break mine in, as soon as I got my 15" CVR's I pushed em to their limit lmao. Never had a problem with them untill 3 years of bumping em the surround came off the basket on one ... I've actually still got em. Got the vids in my channel.

@regalcoupe86 ok thanks and idk if you know or not but ive herd the cvr's even tho rated at 400rms will want/take more without damage. is that true?
