All about Non-Hybrid Grains. Much of the information provided can be confirmed on Wikipedia.

*Also, we purchase our bulk flour and grains from:

http://www.bobsredmill.com
http://www.purityfoods.com

...but most non-hybrid grain selections can be found in your local health food store or whole food market.

Shalom Israel!

  • I tried to share this with so many and the first complaint is...hta't stoo expensive. Well, compare how much it costs for you to maintain your illness versus buying whole foods and changing your diet to where you will free up your finances that you would normally spend on being sick which came from eating food...then you need medicine that makes you "feel" better when indeed you are only covering sickness and the cycle continues. Amen for this information. keep it coming.

  • @iroc31407 Thank you! and yes I do know what you mean about attempting to share this kind of information with friends and or family. Most people cannot except it. I no longer allow it to bother me. We all must live lives for our selves and be concerned with changing ourselves and those in our direct care (children) before really looking outside of that. All others can watch and if the desire arises, then they can inquire about what you do and why!

    Peace!

  • Thank you so much for this; I'm learning so much. Question, is it expensive for you to buy food for your family like this? Much of the food that's sold to us and advertised is less expensive; thus people are more apt to buy it. I am so interested and challenged to change my habits and am willing to make the changes. The info about the rice was very informative..

  • @katbalu I believe it's a matter of perspective when it comes to food and what's expensive. Yes, the regular chain grocers sell the standard american food that is less costly which is why it sells, but we eventually (if not regularly) pay out of pocket from the negative consequences of eating these kinds of foods as well.

We budget very tightly in our home and ONLY live with what we need. I believe it's just apart of the journey we all go thru...

  • @hebrewbaby ...as we begin to focus more upon letting our inward temples shine and not our outter (as the world teaches us to). As we begin to visualize more clearly the changes we see ourselves making to live healthier, we'll find ways to eliminate those things that aren't needed and bring in those things that are.

  • This video was extremely informative. I'm so excited about learning new grains.

THANK YOU for the links (my husband and I are excited about ordering)

    Baruch Shalom :-)

  • Your welcome sis!

    Blessings!

  • Great video, what about barely, oats, emmer, einkorn, sorghhum, triticale?

  • lol, what crap our "sience altered grains" were actually created by our ancestors who ate "wild grains" and did it acurr to you that someone is selling these "wild grains" and to do so they have to make a profit, so its finacially benifical to them which means there not gathered from the wild there planted in huge plantations and grown like any other, so much for your "wild grains" huh

  • Wow this video is great, I just became a raw foodist and i am learning a lot about food and what nature/god intended for us to consume and be one with it. from ashes to ashes we all come and we all go we must use our very short time here as wisely as we can...
