what aboute sound? it seems like there is need to use exterlnal mic.

Yes, the AF motor noise is picked up too readily. There is no external mic. socket on the E-P1, so unless you have a quiet lens, like the Panasonic 14-140 kit lens for the Lumix GH1, it's not advisable to use AF for movie recording.
