i agree with you but what he is really talking about is that when something bad goes wrong people say "oh my God" which is saying the Lords name in Vain. But people continue to say it when something bad happens.

of the few songs that can make me cry, this is one of them.

i never cry but when i hear this song....it breaks down every barrier. it really reminds me how much i really have.

Love this song, and the video is amazing! Very well done. I saw them at Ram's Head Live in Baltimore, their performance was mediocre except for this song. It's very moving.

I like all the responses to the meaning of this, but I'll take it a step further.... I think they're also calling us out to bring everything that IS heaven here to earth. There's a lot of work to do, a lot of antagonism that ISN'T of God. The Gospel message isn't just that Jesus died for each of us, it's ALSO about the fact that we can experience heaven, God's Kingdom NOW in the midst of chaos. In heaven, there is no lonliness--so we visit the lonely. There is no poverty--so we share...

its for all of us who need to reach that higher spirituality of DOING instead of looking and saying Oh my God! you have to have faith and do things... make someone's miracle - any one can say Oh my God! but not everyone is will to say oh my God and also along with that help each other... its for Us here on earth y God sticks around... or it would jus be oh my God! and everything continues... always say but never do... have to change that... ACTIONS!

This song is very good. One of my favorites of all time. After you consider what Christ took for you on the cross, all the problems of life seem small.
