@ARCgaming69 He did. He had to literally merge his body with Sora's. You realize how painful that is? His skin, organs, bones, blood squeeze itself into Sora's body slowly and Roxas yells from the immense torture.

@anythingnew well it MIGHT be painful, but how do we knew? when roxas merged back into him he became a part of sora's heart. So I'm sure as long as sora stays alive, and doesn't turn into a heartless (again) roxas would still be alive.
