got to be the guitars out of tune they wouldnt make fret position mistakes
-
@jantallica someone is a half step down i think
-
hellyeah something sounds wrong
-
Right, the studio version is in G and now they play it in F. But here is something sounding wrong..One guitar or, what I think, the bass is in the wrong tuning. But I dont believe, that one of them plays in the wrong fret or something.
-
cusinrob, in madly they play on Eb on fretin 0 222 but this is not wrong now when they play 1 333. and I dont know is it Eb or E. It sounds like E but its not wrong !
-
i play guitar i know the difference between a lower tuning and just plain out of tune and im pretty sure theyve been playing songs in Eb since load. but this just sounds out of tune somethings off
-
My guess is that someone is playing it in the wrong position. I remember when they played this on the Madly In Anger With the World tour, it was played on guitars half a step down, but the fretting was also shifted down a half a step, so the whole song sounded in F instead of G, as it is on Kill 'Em All. It could be possible that they're not playing the same fretting position.

they are playing ALL songs in lower tunes because of hetfields voice
they are doing this since 2007
and yeah, sounds strange... but well, at least they played this song

I agree with kanyony, someones guitar is either out of tune or someone is fucking up his powerchords=)
