C-5 GALAXY REAR PASSENGER DECK

Nothing much to see, but if you've never flown inside a C-5 Galaxy this is the rear passenger flight deck. The seats face towards the rear of the plane and this is what one sounds like from the inside while taxiing out to the runway and full throttle take off.

Rode C-5's several times Space A from US to Germany and back. Unfortunately they break a lot and you may or may not get a ride. The AF is upgrading them (they are old planes) but the ride is free!!!

I remember coming into those hot summer days in Spain in this aircraft, the destroyed cabin, the blankets with holes in them, having rows to yourself, i miss it :"(

Hopped a Space A flight on one of these from Ramstein to Dover. I have to say, riding on the canvas seats in the back of a C141 with fewer passengers was MUCH more comfortable (then again, there were few enough folks that we could stretch out and sleep on the Starlifter).
