The Northern Territory has a bit of a split personality. The Top End is a tropical eco wonderland, from the rainforests and waterfalls of Litchfield National Park to the floodplains and wetlands of Kakadu. In Arnhem Land in the north-east corner, bark and cave paintings tell the story of the Aboriginal civilizations that date back an almost unfathomable 60,000 years.
