Space shuttle Atlantis was moved Oct. 13 from the Vehicle Assembly Building to Launch Pad 39A at NASAs Kennedy Space Center in Florida for its STS-129 mission to the International Space Station. The move is referred to as "rollout." Atlantis is targeted to launch Nov. 12. During its 11-day mission, the shuttles six astronauts will deliver supplies, spare parts and research material to the space station.
