Top Dempsey's 63 yard field goal to win the game was and still is the longest field goal in NFL history. It ties Jason Elam's in 1999 before halftime. This kick was to win the game. The kick beat the Lions and made the final score 19 to 17 Saints. Tom Dempsey has no right toe which makes this kick even more amazing. Thanks and enjoy!

  • Great moment, thanks ...but you made a typo ...not a big deal ...Jason Elams ties Dempseys FG ...not the other way around ......Dempseys was in 1970.

    Thanks again

  • @kwg1 i realize that, just didn't notice it. Janokowski's and Elam's in my opinion were not as great as Tom Dempsey's. Tom Dempsey's was to end the game and it was not in Denver. lol

    thanks

  • As seen on potato tv.

  • @TheDemonofEmpireCity sorry my fault, it was filmed over 30 years ago

  • @boredkid360 I was just joking, interesting video, I've never seen a field goal that long before.

  • @TheDemonofEmpireCity o alright lol

  • Great moments in Lions history!

  • An interesting thing, my dad was about 12 when this happened. He and his family were riding in a car to a place I have no clue where. The radio buzzed out, and they actually missed this even on radio, and his father was reaaaaaally mad. If only the radio hadn't went into static...
