Can anybody please explain what is "deflection" when talking about a miter saw? Is it blade wobble or the degrees the saw goes out of perfect alignment when pulling it out to its fully extended point?

In this case, we are referring to rail deflection. The Milwaukee design features three large linear bearings that provide a repeatable smooth sliding action. Some of our competitors use only 1 or 2 linear bearings and powdered metal gears. This type of design produces a less smooth sliding action and can compromise the accuracy of a cut.
