  • Wow, disappointed within 5 minutes. What happened to the first portion of the play?

  • @AnnaLisaPooh Thanx for the answer.

  • @grendel963 it says

Where was Moses when the lights whent out? ...In the dark!

  • im glad i dont have ta read this stupid book now lol fa shooo for youtube

  • where was Moses when the lights went out? anybody know the punch line?

  • Jane Wyman is heartbreakingly sweet in this film.

  • I loved the ending! Glad Laura had no trouble finding her own man! His name is Richard! Equally glad that Tom was able to leave his nagging Mom and pursue his dreams

  • Tennesee Williams was an American Sophocles of the 20th Century. Every line has a compelling, tenacious, vitality and the timing is organically flawless. This is a true Gem of a Film. The acting absolutely wonder-ful. Shakespearean almost. This is a film that gets better with several viewings. Thank you so much for this upload!

  • the 1973 one is better

  • What a treat to see this film while Kirk Douglas is still alive! Arthur Kennedy died in 1975 at the ripe old age of 75 and was married for 52 years. Gertrude Lawrence knocked this acting performance out of the ballpark. The mother is annoying, but that comes in handy for anyone who is a salesperson. Jane Wyman's understated performance made you believe she was the shy character. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS WONDERFUL MOVIE !
