Terra Incognita -Eric Leiser

Terra Incognita meaning "unknown territory" in latin is a cut out multi plane animation from historical illustrations and original drawings by the director Eric Leiser. The premise centers around the worldwide race for to claim the north and south poles in the late 19th/early 20th century. Inuit and other native people try to stop the explorers along with the "demons of the deep". Originally back projected as part of Eric's puppet show of the same title when he was part of the theatre group "Faust'.
