In the early 90's, the time had come for the original Wallace Collection (minus original cellist Jacques Namotte) to try a come back. A complete studio album titled 'Candlelight to Satellite' was duly recorded, featuring new songs like "Monsieur Hulot", "Velvet Moon", "Politicians", "Eva", "The Ghost on Sunset Strip", "Promised Land", "Love Divine"...
A first called "Velvet Moon" single was released in January 1991, linked with a couple of promo TV appearances and in February, the original band made a beautiful comeback concert at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels. Sadly, problems of mismanagement and internal politics shelved the project forever and a great album remained in the vaults.
For some reasons, violin player Raymond Vincent was did not appear on this TV appearance for 'Jeunes Solistes' , so a substitute cello player was called.
ENJOY this rare tv appearance for a lovely song.

Stefan Hadjiu.
