Episode 9: Lizzie
Lizzie, 30, is a self-described "algae scientist." She's been hiding under the cover of academia and to date has logged four years in undergraduate studies and six years in doctorate studies. The result is a vibrant, brainy specimen of a woman clad in a heap of T-shirts, frumpy sweaters and hiking shoes. But she's barely a student anymore — she's the one teaching the kids. She admits that she sometimes wishes that a "beam from outer space would come down and dress me." Enter the twin beams of supreme sartorial therapy, Stacy and Clinton. Can they help Lizzie to understand that there's nothing wrong with having a beautiful mind and a beautiful image?

Why did she think that acting and dressing like a little kid (not even going to discuss her voice) is somehow more professional than wearing makeup and heels and showing a little skin? And she was also being incredibly superficial and judgmental about people who took care to look nice by assuming that *they* were all superficial. Her cutesy, nerdy demeanor is like a shield for her kind of bitchy personality. Ugh, glad she learned to appreciate style, but hoping she stops judging people.

I don't blame her for her attitude towards "prettiness". You can bet she's been teased or bullied her whole life for her voice and for being a nerd - most likely by the good-looking popular kids in school.

To be pretty is not to be superficial! They are saving her from eventually coming across another woman that is equally smart (or even smarter) AND good looking and she would realize how wrong she was and what she was missing! By the way, she looks even younger with the new haircut!!! Beautiful!!!
