+1 on upping the speed and disk jumps, hopefully what I saw 2 or 3 weeks ago of ppl skiing around the map was BEFORE the increase in speed.
Seems to be a lot of ability to maneuver thru the air too which Im hoping will go a ways to making up for not having down jets which Im sure I will miss from legions big time.

i was looking forward to an massive mmofps game but then they announced this and i havnt heard anything about tribes universe since

I'd love to get into beta. I played Tribes 1, shifter mod for years as a clan leader in Diamond MultiMedia and then HomeLAN Fed. Glad to hear you guys fixed some things from PAX because I found the inertia and disk-launcher-based momentum messed up. Also wanted space bar to make character jump and THEN have jets start going down. Felt like jets burned away way too fast.
