Ok, here's the best I've been able to do with Phil Phillips "Sea of Love" classic swamp pop song. I'm playin' it in the key of D but have my capo on the 7th fret and playin' a G shaped chord for the D mainly because the 2nd chord of the song is I think a fm#6 and I couldn't figure out an easy way to make that chord. But now I have and may re-do the song later. Anyway it's one of the very few I've got memorized and I'v got my band in a box backin' track runnin' in the background. That was a chore in itself, tryin' t figure out how to get that program to run. The instruction book that came with the program is almost an inch and a half thick, I haven't read the whole thing (probably never will) but just enough to get a bass and drums backin' track and save it for later play.
The song is kinda slow which makes it really difficult for me to sing with a steady voice. I do much better with choppy type songs and lyrics. Hope you like it and hope to add more later now that I've got band in a box figured out a little bit.
One of the all time best rock and roll songs --- but it never gets the credit it deserves do you think? Anyway its always been one of my favorites and you do a very nice job on it I think. What back up program were you referring to? It sounded OK to me. BTW do you recall the Twilight Zone show by Rod Sterling that was built around a juke box and the Sea of Love? It was a great installment.
