The next morning, Miley ran outside to the back gate to look for a note from Nick. She found this huge big bright colored envelope and took it inside. But before she made it to her room, she stumbled into her mom. Miley fakely smiled.
Tish: Miley, I saw 'that boy' leave that just a few minutes ago. Then I heard you running down the stairs.
Miley had no idea what to say.
Tish: Open it.
Miley did as her mother said and opened it. Inside was a few rose petals and a piece of paper shaped like a teddy bear holding a heart.
It said: Miley, it was nice spending time with you yesterday morning. Waking up that early was worth it. I love you. -Nick
After Miley read it, Tish took it from her and read it.
Tish: How early did this boy come here?
Miley: 5.
Tish: So your dad saw him?
Miley: Yes. (looks down)
Tish: Miley, how much do you like this boy?
Miley: A lot. He's really sweet and everything you can ever ask for.
Tish: Miley, give this boy a call later and tell him he's invited for dinner tonight.
Miley: Really?
Tish: (nods) But I'll only give you 5 minutes to talk to him.
Miley didn't care. She was going to see Nick tonight.

After school was over, Miley called Nick right away.
Nick: Hello?
Miley: Hey, Nick.
Nick: Miley? You're on the phone? How did you pull that off?
Miley: No no. My mom let me. She saw your note and wants to invite you to dinner tonight.
Nick: Tonight? At your house? Do I have to wear anything special?
Miley: Just come as yourself.
Nick: Ok. I love you Miley.
Miley: Love you. Bye. (hangs up)

That night::
Nick shows up with roses and hands them to Mrs. Cyrus.
Tish: Thank you for coming, Nick.
Nick: No thank you. I really like Miley and love being with her.
Miley comes down the stairs with a cute outfit on. She hugs Nick and Tish leaves.
Miley: Thanks for coming, Nick. This might get awkward at some points.
Nick sighs and Miley leads him to the table. They both sit down and Mrs. And Mr. Cyrus join them.
