CAPTAIN'S LOG: STARDATE 2010.156.3
The future is now! The Baldwinsville Marching Band is proud to present the music of Star Trek! As a representative of the United Federation of Planets,
the 2010 Baldwinsville Marching Band is excited to perform brand new Star Trek inspired music by composer Michael Giacchino, as well as the original
Star Trek theme by Alexander Courage. The show seeks to capture visual and musical elements of the original 1960's hit television show while
employing new themes reminiscent of the 'wild west' frontier. Selections include "Enterprising Young Men", "Labor of Love", "Amok Time" and "End
Credits".

While Star Trek is a science fiction phenomenon that explores "strange new worlds" throughout the galaxy, it's true spirit can be found in the
camaraderie and friendships formed amongst the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The unbreakable bonds that were born during the now famous '5-Year Mission' are explored and presented in the form of the primary colors worn by the crew: Yellow, Blue and Red. As the mission progresses and the crew is pushed to the brink, the team becomes one through adversity: The finest crew in Starfleet.

  • How I miss watching this show, whether it be on the field or in the high school parking lot waiting for practice to be over. I still get goosebumps as soon as the Band of Brothers warm up music starts.

  • @BMBGuard Great comment, I feel the SAME WAY! At least we can ALWAYS watch it here on YouTube...

  • I love how it's Michael Giacchino's score with the original 1960's bridge. :D

  • GIVE ME...AN APOSTROPHE!!!... haha

  • @vexnsiolence Well Norm used to be the director of band at Baker back in the day, cant remember when. He taught band at Durgee when I was there and had a bus painted the B'ville Bees colors of red black and white that transported the band equipment and uniforms to all our performances. He lived in B'ville when I lived there but not sure if he does anymore. If you talk to anyone associated with B'ville Band/Marching Band pre 2000 I am sure they would know who I am talking about
