How to Drive a Manual

For: 3/7/2007, Survival on the Road: Basic Car Maintenance. Some funny moments, we put this together one day to show a couple residents how to drive stickshift. This is co-produced and edited by my lovely roommate, Daniel Luedtke in a timely 12.5 hours in front of my Macbook Pro. Cut with iMovie HD. Directed and co-produced by Stephen Tabaquin. @Crysinator So I guess your cars are awesome in terms of technology...except for the transmission.  You even said it yourself, "good OLD manual." There is so much more to driving to focus on than shifting.

@bench175 So would you like to tell me which cars you own? Actually I own 3 masterpieces of engeneering. 2x Audis and 1x Porsche. The best part is that both Audi and Porsche plants are situated close to my home and they have technology you can't even imagine but still they use the good old manual shifting for their sportcars. Auto is only for old grandpas and businessmen who want to relax. So own a sportscar and we talk again.

@ThiXtreme1 In Germany it isn't even allowed to call while your in a car ... and I'm also not smoking so there is no confusion while I'm driving. Could be coffee but it makes my leather seats dirty :/

@Crysinator Still... the fact that you're calling people "pussies" for driving automatics is pure bigotry. Today's automatics are almost as fast as standards cause of new technologies. PLUS I can drink coffee, smoke, and talk on the cell at the same time while driving without ever worrying about shifting like a bitch. So... have shifting for the rest of your driving life.
