Kieth and his brother(drummer)lost a family member to a drug o.d.The whole album River,is about a teen that commits suicide.Life Of Agony is the name of the band! Still doesnt make them emo.They r a melodic hardcore band,and fell off after River,but thats what fans want to hear@shows.If i were to call Misfits emo,i'd b corrected.it's punk.Danzig has some dark emotional lyrics 2.Does that make it emo?No,its metal.Every1 has emotions.Doesnt make evryBand Emo

was even a word to describe any kinda music...They were a melodic hardcore band(especially River runs Red) Even toured w/bands like Biohazard,that were hardcore before selling out and became a shit metal band,and sick of it all.Mabe you should listen to some other great new york hardcore,before putting the word emo in the same sentence with this band!!!

This Song is Great... Can you picture this- this should be an example for what EmoCore is. I think they were the first "Emo" Band and look whats now... Emo is a FashionShow for a Bunch of little Tokio Hotel Fans :-)
