  • @1bol1

    For Kikr - AMEN!

  • @TheSimqleArts What's that supposed to mean? Me being younger doesn't affect my understanding of music and creativity. Kirk is overrated as fuck. Only musical idiots disagree. AND THAT'S A FACT.

  • @1bol1 Add your mother to that list, Junior.

  • @1bol1 No, he used to be good for using "Pitch-Shift theory". Not too much anymore, but back before the Black Album, he used it a lot.

  • @kc8ntp kirk isn't a master, he mainly uses the basic pentatonic scale wich fits into everything. he knows music theory but he doesen't. you should stop pretending to think that noobs like hammett are great musicians, sure he can play fast but all his solos sounds pretty much thesame. there are many other guitarists that actually take some time to sit down and write good music instead of just playing same shit over and over again. For example; Michael Romeo, Jason Becker, Shawn Lane (R.I.P).

  • @1bol1 Yes, that is the scale being used. The cool thing, it lends itself nicely as a relative to many shifts in the chord progression without actually changing the scale. Kirk is a master of that, since he was taught by the master of the technique: Joe Satriani.

  • Groovy.
