@murcuryvapor Unless it's battle of the bands!

@kunekune88 I agree....Philip Glass is in constantly touch with that "something" that is not of this world...the something that touches us rarely, but when it does....everything fits together by itself....I am also a composer. :o)

This piece physically hurt 5 people...

I love Philip G;ass....His music is inspiring.

The violin melody here (from about 3:30 onwards, you know what I mean) is honestly one of the most beautiful melodies I've ever heard. Just sublime.
-
This piece always gets me in a philosophical mood. When I listen to it, I ponder the infinite, travel anywhere in the universe, and appear at any given time. All in under 10 minutes, not bad!

@jdpiano93 Did you mean perspiration? It's from a famous quote. Though transpiration roughly means the same thing they have completely different effect.

@jdpiano93 genius consists of 1% inspiration and 99% repeating it again and again :P
Music is not a contest.

People are going to hate me for saying this, but I actually prefer Philip Glass over John Adams. Adams has failed to move me once, but I do like his piece Lolapalooza. There is just something about Glass's music that really gets to me, it's beautiful! Glass is actually one of my biggest inspirations (I am a composer)
