Hedgehog in the Fog (wicked subtitles) / Ежик в тумане (с шикарными английскими субтитрами)

Combining our segregated philological abilities and experience, my friend (a native Russian speaker with English competency) and I (a native English speaker with Russian competency) produced subtitles that convey the semantic nuances of Yuriy Norstein's work with high accuracy.

I think my friend took the subtitles for the first few slides from a different YouTube version, so acknowledgments to the creator of that one. However, there are at least three key places where I believe we were able to propose significant improvements.

nice! I spent way too much time watching Norstein's work for a thesis, so I'm going to make some nit-picky comments.

захлебнется isn't drown, Jove is more correct with 'choke,' but I translated it as 'smother' in this context.

I agree that псих is not "what a weirdo" but I think a better translation is "freak," which maintains the vowels & syllable count, as well the kind of eye-rolling disdain with which it is used.

I'd use Hedgehog & Bear Cub as names... no "the Hedgehog"s.

Thanks for the suggestions! I especially like "freak" for псих. The contextually delimited idealized cognitive model of "захлебнуться" is beyond my sophistication, but this is what my friend said: "Ёжик говорит о тумане, как о жидкости, а эти глаголы [choke, smother] могут указывать на газообразную среду. 'Захлебнуться' - исключительно жидкость."
