The Dixie Chicks' singing "Mary" (by Patty Griffin) at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on October 20, 2007. The video doesn't do it justice. It's a beautiful song, and the performance was awesome!

  • @ILuvCaroline oh, thanks.

  • @ILuvCaroline I know. I'm a diehard fan. I also loved the song they did with Sheryl Crow at that same concert, "It Don't Hurt."

  • Natalie also joined Patty Griffin onstage and sung this song. I cant remember what year it was but the video is on youtube.

  • @laurieheartsdcx They have sung this song a few other times as well. They did a different version on Women Rock: Girls & Guitars back in 01. So they have been singing this song for a while now.

  • @JM4LAJF No they were there mostly for the Eagles. The girls did 6 dates for them in 2008 at the opening of Nokia Theatre in LA.

  • This is AMAZING. Hope to see a new album from them soon, and I hope they record this.

  • while i love the chicks, they don't really change many of the songs they cover, except for harmonies and such.

  • Was all the ppl there for them?

  • But it's Patty's and I don't think they add a lot to the song. They are verry verry good, but don't sing it differend then the original version. And I think that when you want to cover a song you should do it a bit differend then the original
