'Thanon khon fan' is about a village girl who dreams of a better life in the city. She struggles and is fired over an accident and is about to make the ultimate sacrifice when a stranger comes to her rescue, and recognises the girl's talent. Her struggle to help her family comes to a happy conclusion.

this video still brings tears to my eyes the picture of her family kills me, having spent so much time in Isaan and knowing the struggles that my family went through before they had my support. Even if my dream of retiring and spending the rest of my life with my family there is never fulfilled, I will be at peace knowing they are ok. My wifes mother thanks me but she will never know that they have given me much more than I have given them.
