King Boo vs. Yoshi-SM64DS

So a while ago, I tried out using a couple of codes in ARDS to get to King Boo with Yoshi. I got it on the first try.

Then in the afternoon, I took this video. It requires the character changing through doors, any other codes (like the moonjump, which I used just because) are optional.

I didn't find how to do this from any site or guide, I just found it out myself.

i can get to Big Boo Battle as Yoshi easly without Action Replay codes: Get Luigi's cap then do a Backward Somersalt then get hurt by a boo ( to lose cap ).

@VauxhallVx If I know what you're trying to do, that wouldn't work. You can't have a cap inside the castle area, only in levels.

Yah, I tried fighting Chief Chily with Yoshi, (hacked giant fire-breathing Yoshi, to be more specific) and Chilly actually talked. It's wierd how King Boo doesn't. That must meen that the game designers originaly intended for Yoshi to be able to fight Chief Chilly.

my R4 code Press L+R+up for Play as Yoshi.

When I play as mario,I beat Big boo then i entered the haunted house until pressig L+R+Up to Play as Yoshi.when it started,it crashed if play as yoshi.any character too.

So when starting,Moon Jump first at 3 seconds,so it will not crash the game.
