Scene from The Waltons episode titled "The Sermon" which originally aired Sept. 11, 1975.This is the episode where Reverend Fordwick asks John-Boy to deliver the Sunday sermon in his absence while on honeymoon with his new bride, school teacher Miss Rosemary Hunter.

In this scene, John-Boy, has been struggling to come up with the theme of his sermon, so he takes to his thinking spot atop Walton's Mountain when Grandpa joins him and offers his eldest grandson profound words of wisdom in the old-timey way that has made Zeb Walton one of TV's timeless iconic characters and America's all-time favorite grandpa.
