My second LEGO "steam" engine run on vacuum.

It's a model of an early 19th century beam engine after James Watts design, the vacuum cleaner is running at lowest power and has no problem coping with powering the engine. I hope to get a small eletric compressor to power it instead.

And before anyone asks; I built this using my head, there are no blueprints or CADs!

  • now if you really did make that with no instructions you could have a future in making things

  • All I can build is a ramshackle little engine with almost no torque. It's fast, though. I might try to build a similar engine if I ever get more Technic pieces.

  • @JonatanGronoset I'll do.

  • That's awesome - it needs a little speed meter to tell you which direction it is going and how fast (aka a ship's engine telegraph).

  • haha ok :)

  • @JonatanGronoset Lol I was expecting to be cussed out and told to go to hell but that was even better. Good vid. BTW

  • I have to say that this is one of the best lego engines I've seen on youtube. And I have seen a lot. Great job.
