Not only can you use this to find a sum but you can also use your fingers to find a reverse of any numbers... Convert 0, 1 and 2. Keep up the great work!

I am an adult who came from a rough background and I often missed a lot of school. While I was adverage to high with reading my Maths has always been abominable. Throughout my adult life I have experienced a lot of anxiety when Maths crops up in my everyday life. Now I have a child who's started schoool and I am determined to help them excel in everey subject, particuarly maths since this was my downfall. I found you video today, for the first time in my life I'm multiplying with ease. Thank you

@kaienteri Hi thanks for your question - The trick only works with times tables over 6 x 6 so with x 3 you'll need to find a different way. If you are happy to add then 6 x 3 is the same as 6+6+6, it might take a bit of working out but you could do it this way. Or you could learn them by repeating (a lot!). Maybe try using fingers to work out 6 x 6 and then halving. 6 x 6 = 36 half of this is 6 x 3 = 18 (half of 36). There's lots of different ways but the main thing is to keep trying. Good luck!
